Education Background

 

Ji Zhijuan, received her BSc degree (2001) in Agronomy and MSc degree (2004) in Crop Genetics and Breeding from Zhejiang University, China.

Research Area

 

Her research interest focuses on the construction of new rice breeding system through combination of biotechnologies and conventional breeding techniques, resistant gene identification, development of breeding material conferring multiple resistances, rice anther culture and its utilization. Her current research projects include:

Functional Genomics Analysis of Rice Bakanae Disease.

Pyramiding and Application of Multiple Disease Resistant Genes in Rice.

Purple-Pericarp Rice Breeding with High-Yield.
