Education Background

Yan Qing, an environmental specialist, received her MSc degree (2007) in Environmental Engineering from Sun-Yet-sen University, China and her PhD degree (2014) in Environmental Science and Engineering from Chongqing University, China.

Research Area

She is engaged in the research of pollutant migration and transformation in environment system and the physiology and ecology of environmental microorganism, including: 1) Risk assessment, occurrence, migration and transformation of heavy metals and antibiotics in the environment; 2) Occurrence and fate of emerging organic contaminants in paddy environments; 3)Eco-engineering of the environment and ecosystem rehabilitation; 4) Phytoremediation. Supported by She has published more than 30 papers in the above fields in international and domestic peer reviewed journals including EST, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, Journal of Hazardous Meterials, etc. She has presided over several environmental restoration projects and her research has been supported by international and domestic projects.
