Education Background

 

Lin Xianqing, Agronomist, received his BSc degree in Agronomy (1987) and his MS degree in Agronomy (1990) from Zhejiang Agriculture University, his PhD in Agronomy (2005) from Zhejiang University.

 

Research Area

 

He is responsible for the coordination of the System of Rice Intensification Program which has been developed and implementated in Zhejiang Province. He was also a visiting scientist of Central Agricultural Development Training Center (CADTC), Burma and a research scientist at All Russian Rice Research Institute, Russia. He is responsible for integrated crop management technology and its transfer to farmer program, and physiology of high-yielding rice and evaluation of rice to resistance to stress program. He has more than 20 scientific publications in FCR, PAD, etc.
