Education Background
Zhu Lianfeng, an agronomist, received his BSc degree in Agronomy (2001) from Hubei Agricultural College, China, his MSc degree in Crop Cultivation and Farming System (2004) from Nanjing Agricultural University, China and his PhD in Crop Cultivation and Farming System (2013) from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), China.
Research Area
His main focus is rice cultivation for high yield based on plant type. He is also interested in the mechanism of root morphology and function response to environment and effects of root function on nitrogen use efficiency of rice. Meanwhile, he is contributing to studies on the abiotic stresses, such as hypoxia and drought.
