● By using a combination of genetic, biochemical, molecular biological, transcriptomic and proteomic approaches, identify and functionally characterize important genes controlling the development of rice reproductive organs such as florets, panicles, seeds and etc.

● Study the genetic regulatory network and mechanism in rice reproductive development.

● To identify 6-8 phenotypically panicle- or seed-related mutants (During 2014-2015)

● To clone 1-2 functional genes (During 2014-2015)
