During April 8^th-12^th, responding to the invitation of Indian Branch of Rice Science and Technology Company of U.S.A, CNRRI’s Deputy Director General Hu peisong led experts in rice genetic breeding, seed production and such to pay a visit to India, initiating investigations and technology exchange.

During the visit, CNRRI’s delegation took field trips to investigate the Branch’s hybrid rice and performances of their varieties based in the south and middle of India in farming areas successively. Afterwards, both sides exchanged broad information and engaged in deep discussions on rice development, technology research, seed production and other areas, ultimately reaching consensus on next step cooperation.
