On October 22^nd, CNRRI’s Director General Cheng Shihua, Deputy Director General Hu Peisong met with John Nelsen, the CEO of RiceTec, Inc., and other delegates.

During the meeting, Dr. Cheng reviewed the past cooperation between CNRRI and RiceTec, and looked into the future for a stronger partnership. Dr. Hu also gave a brief introduction about CNRRI and its scientific achievements, particularly in the field of hybrid rice. The two sides have exchanged extensive views on scientific collaboration and consensuses have been made. The delegation also visited CNRRI’s rice experimental field after the meeting.
